THE AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT & ADA Advisory Committee

On March 28, 2013, the ADA Advisory Committee approved the update of the ADA Transition Plan.  The plan was reviewed by the Charlottesville Planning Commission and, with a few additional changes, was sent to the Charlottesville City Council with a recommendation for approval.  The ADA Transition Plan was approved by City Council on June 3, 2013.  For more information, please write ada@charlottesville.org. or call (434) 970-3185. Virginia Relay 7-1-1

The ADA Coordinator staffs this committee which consists of representatives from various City Departments and persons with disabilities from the community.
